Your memory should belong to you.
iriz is built around explicit boundaries, local encryption, and deliberate controls. There is no iriz cloud account, ad network, or developer-operated analytics pipeline in the current app.
- ✓Encrypted on your Mac. Memory and search are protected with AES-GCM; encryption keys live in macOS Keychain.
- ✓Raw evidence expires. Screenshots and audio are encrypted locally and automatically removed after 24 hours.
- ✓You choose the boundaries. Pause instantly, manage permissions, and exclude apps, domains, or window titles.
- ✓Sensitive inputs stay out. iriz never captures keystrokes, clipboard contents, or camera video.
- ✓AI requests stay selective. Your OpenAI key remains in Keychain, requests go directly from your Mac, and Responses API analysis uses
